Given that it's Labor Day weekend and we had no plans to get out of town, we thought it might be fun to take a day trip to Payson so that's what we did today. We were hoping to escape the extreme heat and even though it was still 90 there, it was cooler than the 108 here in Mesa. We really had no plan but enjoyed a nice relaxing day in Payson. We visited the fish hatchery, drove around Christopher Creek, ate on the patio at a cute little cafe, and then headed home. It was a great day!
