1. Michael has been interviewing, applying, and searching for jobs. We see God at work even in the no's and we are certainly learning to live in faith with each passing day. We are still holding out for that "yes".
2. Even with a 50% cut in pay, God has been faithful and provided above and beyond our needs for the month of April. Thank you Jesus!
3. Jadon, who is growing like a weed that gets watered every day, grew out of all his summer clothes except for 2 pairs of shorts. It was time to take the boy shopping but this is not an easy task for our extremely PICKY child, no buttons, no collars, no cargo pockets, has to be soft, nothing fancy, stripes but not thick stripes, shorts have to touch the knees and the list goes on, and on, and on, and on.... But my boy must be growing up because he surprised me with how adventerous he got when picking out new shorts, and shirts. He is stylin' and I think our boy is going to start turning some heads, and I'm not ok with that just in case you were wondering.
4. Annagrace has her first piano recital tonight. She is playing Oh When The Saints Go Marching In. She has a passion for piano and it shows big time when she plays. I'm so excited for her!
5. Geography (I told you this would be random) is not my area of expertise and I really should not be in charge of teaching it to our kids. I gave Jadon a wrong peice of information but since he trusts me he believed me and when he went to his thursday afternoon class and shouted out the answer that I gave him, there was lots of laughter. And of course he had to follow up with a, "I asked my mom and that's what she told me." Way to blame your mom son. Let's just say I studied up when he got home and Russia is MUCH bigger than I thought. Oh Geography how I despise you!
6. Michael and I are in a small group and we are studying the Patriarchs of the Bible, it has been an amazing study so far and very insightful to our current situation of Michael not having work, the lessons we are learning in this class are sustaining us.
7. Michael and I along with the kids have a new favorite show, Biggest Loser. It's amazing to watch these people transfrom inside and out, and it's very family friendly.
8. We all love American Idol, especially Anna. She has all the contenstants memorized and is very opinionated about who she likes. She is currently angry with Stefano because she thinks he should have gone home and not Pia. So now when Stafano sings she rolls her eyes. She gets the eye rolling bit from her mom, it's not something I'm proud of. The rest of the family loves Casey, I don't really get it? I love Scotty and Jacob.
9. I just finished a study of the book of Revelation. It was an AMAZING study and I got to study this book with a wonderful group of women every Thursday night. I learned so much and made some great friends along the way.
10. And last but not least I have been mesmerized by this website. It is a live video stream about a bald eagle family and is amazing to watch. Check it out, you'll love it. Eagles are referenced throughout the Bible which makes it even more meaningful to watch. I will leave you with this verse.
Deuteronomy 32:10-12 (New International Version, ©2011)
10 In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye, 11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft. 12 The LORD alone led him; no foreign god was with him.

Randomness is totally a word in my vocabulary. . . ha ha! Thanks for sharing all that God is doing for your family. He is so faithful to provide ALL that we need and then some.
I use the word randomness ALL the time. As well as awesomeness! :)
Loved this blog and all the random updates!
