Concert in the park

We had a blast the other night. We heard on KLOVE that J.J. Heller was going to be doing a free concert at Fountain Hills Park and we are all fans of her song, Your Hands. So we packed a pic nic and headed to the park. It was a fabulous concert and she put on a GREAT concert. It was really well done and she and her husband are very entertaining and funny. It was a great time. Here are some pics from our fun night.

Jadon is taking a class on Solar Energy and he had to make a boat to see who's boat could hold the most cargo without sinking. His boat came in 5th. He did a great job and did it all by himself with just a little bit of help from Michael. So here is a picture of him and his boat.

Lastly, I had to do a photo shoot with Michael to get a picture for him to use for work purposes. I guess it will go on the website and letterhead and things like that. Not surprising that we both got the giggles while I was taking his picture. He couldn't figure out how to smile and his faces were quite entertaining. But I really like this one.

That's it for now. Michael and I are getting ready to go away for the night and Papa and Grandma are coming over to watch the kids. We are very excited. It is sort of a work mixed with pleasure trip. Michael's work is having a banquet tonight and offered all the agents a free hotel room, I imagine because there will be a lot of drinking and they don't want anyone to drive drunk. Although we won't be drinking, we will take advantage of a night away at a nice hotel. Looking forward to having some alone time with the hubster. Happy weekend everybody!

Enjoy your night away. I think the picture of Michael turned out great, but I agree that if I had to take serious pictures of Tony, I'm not sure we could do it. I was also very impressed with your concert pictures. Great job!
