A walk down memory lane....Our summer in no particular order.
| Our summer started off with a room makeover while Annagrace was at camp. While Anna was enjoying a week at UCYC and while Michael was in Ireland on a work trip, I painted Anna's room. This was the finished project a few weeks after it all came together. |
| Michael and I squeezed in a few dates nights, they always seem to involve Target and being silly. |
| These two enjoyed some night swims and boat games. |
| The summer also involved some planning as we will have 3 kids and 3 different schools. This school year is a new adventure for us all. |
| We had a great weekend up north in Munds Park. |
| Michael and I enjoyed a romantic canoe ride on the lake, we celebrated 19 years of marriage this summer. |
| Anna and I got crafty and created some lip gloss, it turned out awesome! |
| We started this puzzle at the cabin and finished it when we got home. Every summer should involve a puzzle! |
| Someone who shall remain nameless went tubing on the Salt River and ended up with a very bad sunburn. The sunburn was a miserable experience for him so I'm pretty sure he learned his lesson the hard way. |
| We drank a lot of Dutch Bros over the summer, such deliciousness. |
| School starts early around here, August 6th was the first day of school. Jadon is at MVHS as a Freshman and Annagrace is in 4th grade at Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies. Camden is homeschooling with me through Jr. High. |
| First day of homeschool for Camden, also on August 6th. |
| Even Michael and I had a few Dutch Bros dates with each other. :) |
| We enjoyed some monsoon storms, not as many as I had hoped for but they were welcome! |
| Someone (who shall remain nameless again) discovered a new clothing style. |
| We got a new mailbox after the old one sort of got ran over by my husband. :) |
| Park date, the kids were playing while we were kissing. |
| We went solar!!!!!!!! This was on the day of install. |
| The finished product. |
| It was national dog day, happy dog day Pepper! |
| We enjoyed going through some old photos of Bobbe's after we moved all her stuff out of the condo to get it ready for rental. Here are a few gems we found. |
| Lazy dog days of summer. |
| I grew 5 sunflowers this summer, they all died one by one but they all bloomed before they met their death so it was worth it. |
| Camden created a squirt gun that continually refills with water. |
| Every summer involves some slip and slide fun. |
| My first sunflower to bloom. It needed a little help spreading its wings. |
| The kids enjoyed having friends over, this is our traditional prayer praise when kids come over. |
| These two, such special friends. |
| Hoo Hoo Ha Ha got to go to Northern Ireland with daddy while Anna was at camp. |
| Anna on the bus heading to summer camp, her first camp experience without us. |
| After a week without Michael, I start to go a little crazy. |
| Camden did tech theatre for EVCT this summer. He worked so hard and so many hours. It was a great learning experience but probably one he won't be repeating again. 40 plus hours of work each week for two weeks while all your friends are off having fun isn't an easy pill to swallow. |
| I captured this yawn towards the end of the week at EVCT, call times were EARLY! |
| Love notes from Anna to dad while he was gone in Ireland. |
| Check out this beauty in her full glory! |
| So proud of our hard working Camden, he did the lights for Little Red, it was a fabulous show. |
| Pepper gets depressed when he sees luggage. :( |
| Jadon went to summer camp with the high school group from church, I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of his summer. |
| Annagrace and I refinished my childhood desk for her new room, this is the BEFORE look. |
| Me and my love. |
| The AFTER. Didn't it turn out great! We now have a chair for the desk. |
| A rare moment when the house is all cleaned up. Love those times, but they are few and far between. |
| Anna saved her money for many months and on July 4th, she purchased her very own computer. Daddy was helping her set it up. |
| After Jadon got back from camp we enjoyed a night away at Arizona Grand Resort, this was the best plate of nachos I have ever eaten. |
| Long hot days of summer make is a little cra cra. |
| Thank goodness for mornings spent in God's word, oh how I need them to keep me grounded. |
| For Anna's Gotcha Day, we went to As You Wish and enjoyed painting pottery. We even got her brothers in on the action. |
| Painting away. |
007 night with Jadon and his friends. We love his friends, so blessed by this group of kids.
And that's a wrap! What a great summer we had. Now we are ready to welcome in the Fall.
