He goes by daddy...

His name is Michael but for three special people he goes by daddy. Father's Day is tomorrow and since store bought cards are truly overrated and impersonal I decided to create my own little card via this blog post as a tribute to my husband, the father of our children. They are so blessed to call him daddy, so I've come up with a list to explain why. Here are just a few reasons that make Michael the best dad for our children.

He provides spiritual guidance to our kids and leads them through the most important of decisions.

He holds on tight at just the right times.

He is always there for these three, no matter what.

He gives the biggest, tightest hugs even when you may not want one.

He watches over our kids and protects them.

He spends quality time with each of the kids.

He makes his kids (and wife) feel like superheroes on a daily basis.

He provides a helping hand for all the science projects these two come up with.

He has fun with his kids.

He knows how to sit and just listen.

He has the perfect shoulder to lean on, when he's sitting down of course.

He gives an encouraging word during those not so certain moments. (this was Anna's first day at a new school)

He's not too old to play at the park.

He carries you when you need a lift, even if you are a large teenage child and totally embarrassed by such a thing.

He teaches his kids how to fix things preparing them for manhood.

He plays well with others. (LOL)

He's in the now, cool and hip (in his own sort of way, LOL) and doesn't mind walking through Scottsdale Fashion holding a Children's Place bag and posing with models so I can document such an event.

He knows how to rainbow loom, the way to his daughter's heart.

He is proud of his kids' special talents and nurtures those qualities in them.

He teaches our kids how to serve well and to do it with a happy attitude.

He brings out the best laughs in all three of his kids, even when they don't feel like laughing.

He listens to class presentations and is a captive audience of one.

He takes care of his kids when they don't feel good.

He instills a strong work ethic and leads by example.

He works hard and provides for his family and is also the best daddy to Pepper and allows him to sleep at the foot of our bed every single night.

He provides support at just the right moments.

He teaches his kids that the kitchen is not only a place for mom but also for them to learn how to make the best bread ever.

We love you Michael and are so thankful for your leadership, love, helpfulness, adventurous ways, support, teachings, and for just being the best you you can be. We LOVE you so much!!!!! Happy Father's Day!

The past three months in iPhone photos

We are so proud of Jadon, he just finished a week of training at the Teen Police and Fire Academy for Scottsdale PD and Fire. He had an amazing week and we are proud of all his accomplishments.

Annagrace completed her third grade school year at Eduprize school. We hosted a pool party for her and her classmates on the last day of school. She made some wonderful friends, she is a little sad about switching schools for 4th grade but mostly excited about what awaits at Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies.

Her gal pals.

Some things never change, these two love each other to the moon and back.

We completed our 5th year of homeschooling. Next year will look quite different as Jadon will be heading off to high school at MVHS, Annagrace will be going to school full day, and Camden will be my only student. :)

This is my view most days when I use the master bathroom. Pepper has appointed himself as my potty guard. :)

Not a sight you see every day. He is such a patient dog.

Pure sweetness.

Annagrace had her spring recital, she played this classical piece and did an amazing job!

Life is always more fun with friends!

We changed our piano location, we like the new set up!

Can you tell that the pool season is upon us, thus time for wet footprints leading to the bathroom.

Bobbe and Lou came for a visit, Annagrace played her recital piece since they were not here for the recital.

Bobbe's first selfie. :)

Lou's first selfie.

Pepper loves a car ride.

Park selfie!

Mother's day selfie with my kiddos.

Seeing this never gets old, I LOVE seeing him with a book.

It was a sad day in Mesa when a police officer was laid to rest after a traffic accident.

Pepper smiling for popcorn. (I am embarrassed how many photos I take of Pepper)

No makeup selfie and my 40th birthday!

I'm 40!!!!!!!

Makes my heart smile when I see love between the kids, Camden wrote this note and put it in his sister's lunchbox.

Evening walks are the best, as long as it's not over 100 degrees.

Michael working from home with his support system nearby.

After dinner walk, trying to get as many in before it's too hot to go.

My 40th birthday present from my parents, a Brighton bracelet.

FRIENDS!

Spring flowers!

These guys enjoy air softing together!

Mommy/daughter moment.

I'm so happy to be on a more relaxed schedule this summer, she enjoys making breakfast for the whole family.
