Phone photos (May thru July)

About once a quarter I downlaod my phone photos on to my computer and then I realize just how many photos I take on my phone! It's in the hundreds so there is no way I can share them all on here but I did my best to choose some of favorites from each month. So here we go, the story of our summer in pictures and captions. (captions on top)

They continue to be best buds.
We played a family game of find the missing objects through pictures, it was super fun.

I continued to work out until the humidity hit.
These boys spent hours swimming or play fighting, whatever you call it.
Anna played the piano every day.
I kissed my husband every day.
 Anna got crafty.
The boys tried to make a hot air balloon, it didn't work.
 We enjoyed going on walks.
 Anna went to art camp.

 I got a summer cold.
We facetimed my nieces and nephew dog.
I read my Bible and prayed.
Anna got to hang out with her BFF
 We baked.
 We went on a date.
 We melted, again.
I played lifeguard at our pool.
 We baked more.
 We did chores.
 We played scrabble.
Anna enjoyed Extreme Week at church.
We went back to school shopping.
Camden tried to tie a cherry stem in his mouth, I still hold the record for fastest time.
 Night games.
 More scrabble.
 They caught snakes.
 Hi snake!
This guy worked.
 We fished.
 They bonded.
 We hiked this cave.
We made it to the very end and back, so fun!
Got my first glimpse of what he will look like behind the wheel.
 Enjoyed beautiful Arizona scenery.
Lord help us all! LOL

Mountain get-a-way

Mund's Park is our absolute favorite place to go to escape the intense summer heat of the desert. Last Thursday night we headed up north for a long weekend of family time and fun, and we had both. We arrived just after dark on Thursday night and enjoyed breathing in the cool mountain air. We got unpacked and settled in for the night. Friday we woke up to a beautiful morning and the kids set out to explore. We went on several walks, played games, went fishing, welcomed an afternoon rain storm, and enjoyed home cooked meals. On Saturday we ventured into Flagstaff and hiked the Lava Caves, such a fun hike! We ate lunch in Flagstaff before heading back to the cabin. We spent the rest of the day and evening fishing. Sunday we headed back to the valley after a wonderful weekend of fun and family! Up next, photo bomb of recent iPhoto photos!

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th this year with Michael's brother and his family. We had a great time eating yummy food, swimming, playing games and setting off fireworks. The cousins had a wonderful time being together. I only snapped a few pool pics and nothing else, I was too busy having fun to take pictures! Up next, our weekend in the mountains....

Sunday drive

A few weeks ago we took a Sunday afternoon drive to see if we could find some water for the kids to play in. We headed north on Power past Thomas and after a few miles we turned into this place and found the water we had been looking for! However, there was quite the wild crowd. Many people were drunk and we even witnessed a fight. So we didn't stay long, just long enough for the kids to get wet and cool down from the valley heat. We have plans to go back on a weekday when things aren't so wild and it's not so crowded.
